Returns Policy and Right of Withdrawal

1. When it applies

The statutory right of withdrawal applies to distance contracts (telephone, e-mail, online) or contracts concluded off-premises. For products bought directly in our boutique, exchanges or returns follow the policy displayed in store, without affecting the legal guarantee of conformity.

2. The 14-day period

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving any reason and without additional costs, except those set out below. The period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the product.

3. How to exercise the right

Inform us by an unequivocal statement (a letter to Strada Aurel Vlaicu I3, Arad 310141, an e-mail to contact@sarafinejewelry.ro or by telephone at 0751 059 740, followed by written confirmation). You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory. The deadline is met if you send your communication before the 14-day period expires.

4. Exceptions (art. 16 OUG 34/2014)

• goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised (e.g. engraving, resizing on request, made-to-order pieces), letter (c);
• goods whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market which the trader cannot control and which may occur within the withdrawal period, letter (b), where applicable (e.g. investment gold);
• sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and which have been unsealed after delivery (e.g. earrings for newly pierced ears, if delivered sealed), letter (e).

5. Returning the product

The product must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating your withdrawal, to Strada Aurel Vlaicu I3, Arad 310141, in the condition received, with its tags, certificate/documents and original packaging. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer. Given the value of the jewellery, we recommend insured shipping.

You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product (e.g. signs of wear, deformation, scratches).

6. Refunds

We refund all payments received, including the cost of standard delivery, no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal, using the same means of payment, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, and without any fees. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or you have supplied proof of having sent it, whichever is earlier.

7. Non-conforming products

If the product is defective, you have the rights provided by the legal guarantee of conformity (repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract); see Warranty and Certification.
